Thanksgiving and the Interwebs

It’s Thanksgiving and today there are many ways online of making your Thanksgiving day more enjoyable and engaging.  Thanksgiving is one of the busiest times to travel and finding special deals or faster alternatives or traveling tips like on the Travel Channel is a smart option.

Thanksgiving is also a time for giving, and going to sites like GoFundMe show you care. Googling nearby places to volunteer (I.e, homeless shelter) is also a fantastic way to be active during the holidays.

Online is a great place to find new Thanksgiving recipes  to try. allrecipes.com offers quick Thanksgiving dishes, leftover ideas, desserts, and vegetarian Thanksgiving recipes.

Sites like Instagram and Snapchat offers those a chance in the parade to do live-streams. For those at home who want a different perspective of the parade than the camera angles of NBC it’s also great to search for these live-streams.

Happy Thanksgiving!
